well i spent this week putting in my new hid headlights and switchback drl and led back up lights in. the hid lows and fogs are from ddmtuning and the housing are the lmc truck housings. the switch back and backups are from two ebay companys. did not have to use the el12 flashers with the leds stock one worked fine thought i would have to switch them but didnt.

they are really not that bad didnt have them aimed and the camera pics up so much glare. after aiming them it was even less, also had roommate drive the car while i was in the truck to see if it blinded me was not blinding at all have been driving it for almost a week and so one flashed me.

i had the eurolights ones in my red 99ws6 and they where way worse than these. plan on doing my own projector retro fit next year sometime.

Those look really good. I am still on the fence about doing them on my car. My buddy has gone through about 4 ballast on his hids. They seem like they can have a lot of problems.

Get some more pics with the improved aim! But if nobody has flashed you yet, it's at least bearable for everybody else.

1) Bad wiring can cause ballast failure
2) Ballasts that bounce around have reduced life expectancy
3) Poorly made components can also cause failure
4) A proper HID retrofit does not have issues with constantly failing parts. If they did, OEMs wouldn't use HID technology for something as safety-critical as headlights.
5) Hundreds if not thousands on this board alone have retrofit HID systems into their cars without having four ballasts fail on them.

I hope these points compel you to make the correct decision.
