Smile New Ls1 man.

Hey everyone, new to site, looks very informative and I need info as I just traded my Big mudracer for a 2000 Trans Am Ws6 with the Ls1 as you already know it has. I have built a lot of cars and trucks for others also myself in the 110 range for some kind of something fast. But mostly old school, so want to learn all the info I can to start to buils my car the right way. Pretty much all stock except aftermarket brakes f/back. So hope to learn all I can from you guys, the fun is just beginning for me in the LS world. Thanks. Rick.

Not much done to the car yet, mostly rotor/caliper/brake upgrade, strut bar and a different wider rear spoiler. Also trans has been rebuilt with shift kit and upgraded sprags. Normal K/N filter. Looking for ideas and also posted that I have a thumping noise under drivers floor when I did a burnout tonight, not sure if it is bushings wore out or what, will find when I can get in my garage.

I thought it was a factory rear spoiler too until the last owner said he changed it for an aftermarket wider one, so I went and looked at a friends 2000 convertible and his is narrower, is a hardtop different. Not sure what to think. it looks factory to me.

Convertibles have the smaller wing like the normal firebirds. Ws6's and trans am's have the high rise wing. Post a pic of a different angle of yours if your not sure if it is stock. I am sure people here will know right away.

the only one that got a wide spoiler was firehawks, and it was basically looked like a bigger version of the regular convertible/base formula spoiler.
