Thinking about purchasing the polished aluminum MBA caps, covers, and MAF Ends. What is the maintenance like on these, do they dull quickly or require any extra attention above normal engine bay detailing?

Also, I know someone on this board was selling polished cylinder head plates. Is this person still selling them or does anyone know where I can still get one?

Well the polished caps and such from MBA would need maintanace like any other polished item (wheels, etc).. Over time they will oxidize and need to be rubbed out with some good metal polish.. not very difficult. just wash off the caps (to remove dirt) then polish and buff.

If they ever get to the point where they start to look too scratched then get them re-polished. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Smile]" src="gr_stretch.gif" />

Another option would be to get them polished then have them clear powder painted..

MBA makes some nice stuff.. Oh, and they also make the head plates like you mentioned.

I love the MBA goodies. I have some stuff on order. I have to have a head plate, but that is going to have to wait until I get the LS6 intake when I remove that awful EGR gizmo. <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
