Default What is your oil pressure???

I'm working on a project and need some help with what people's typical oil pressures are.

I have a washer behind the spring and see over 70psi at full boogie and probably around 30 at idle. Seems kinda high so I want to know what pressures are typical for most people.

So if you don't mind:

Hot idle / Hot WOT

Thanks,

Roger

Meling high volume/pressure pump. 60psi at idle, between 60 and 75psi WOT. It never goes to the 40psi mark.

99 ta with 100k miles, stock everything. mobil 1 5w30 synthetic. 30psi hot (200*) idle 60psi hot wot 5500+ rpm.

something odd i've noticed is that it goes from 30psi up to 40psi @ 1200 rpm and only makes 40psi until 4k or so. then goes up to 60 on the nose around 5500.

Usually a little over 60 cold start and stays there when warm and nearly pegs the gauge under WOT.

just over 40 idle, just over 40 driving, just over 40 cold start.

I wonder if my gauge is working?

I rarely take the car wot and when I do, I'm not looking at the oil pressure gauge, but the object/situation that made me go wot. From what I recall though, it was up around 50 when I was paying very close attention to this, but that was back during mid summer, 90 degeree days.

totally stock, worn out LS1, barely alive btw.

Forged 347 w/SLP oil pump & Mobil 1 10w30 Extended Performance. Total Seal brand moly coated rings:
Cold:
Idle = 50-60psi
WOT = I don't go WOT when the motor is cold...

Mostly warm oil:
Idle = ~40psi
WOT = ~55-~65+

See below for hot oil pressure (68+ at WOT):

The in car video in my sig shows various rpm pressures. It's a ported, shimmed stocker.
