Default here we go again...Newbie

And she thought I was over this already.Just bringing some old tricks to the table to see if I can get a rise out of a few here! I am currently in the process of breathing new life into a old Friend.Current config is MS tube chassis 109in. 1968 Camaro Four link w Strange struts,454 progressive N2O, 400thm Brk, 2950lb loaded. We have decided to piece together a LS2 with a F1R with a new chassis with a goal of 2350lb and 1.0 60ft times.Current config runs 8.0 @ 1.70sh with 1.18 60ft. I am anxious to see how these LS engines respond to a light load! Going to be interesting.

dedicated race car would get a solid roller if it were mine... my rule for a race car (from modern vehicles) is if the a/c and heater core box has come out for weight, its a race car lol, and it gets a solid roller cam.

Correct thinking on Mechanical Roller and race cars. I think where we are going on this project is a "Technical" budget. And a hydraulic might act as a Mental rev limiter if you will. We have a bad habit of working on the high side of tach! Speaking of Camshafts,Who has access to the cores and grinds the most popular LS cams?
