Default Placement of BOV???? DILEMA

Im putting on a used sts turbo system on my car and there is no flange or spot what so ever to put a bov...i literally have no room anywhere and the only place that would really work would be between the throttle body and MAF...but im told that you're not suppose to have the BOV after the MAF...i dont see how this is such a big deal when all the BOV does is release the pressure in the intake tube when the throttle snaps shut??? any help is greatly appreciated!!!

The MAF measure mass flow rate of air. If you measure some mass of air the engine controller then injects some amount of fuel to match the air. If you use a BOV post MAF, you'll measure the air, inject the fuel to match that air, and the air will be "missing". That will make the engine go rich during BOV venting. It will work. It just might feel kind of lethargic for the first half second after a shift while it goes from very rich, to just the normal rich condition.
