Default Pushrod Question 5.3 w/stock heads

If I use the stock heads on my 5.3 and am only changing out the cam (XER272 224/230 .581.588 on a 114) do I need to measure pushrod length? After "searching" it seems that since my cam is not more than .600 lift then a stock length pushrod will work, but wanted to make sure. I was going to use the LS9 gaskets.

I realize that if I use a set of 317's that I would need to check but am curious with using the stock heads. Thanks in advance.

It's always a good idea to check the pushrod length to be safe. You should be fine with the 7.4's.
