Default Ideas on tire size to fill in fender well

Right now I'm running a Nitto Extreme ZR 315/35-17 on the rear of my 2001 Z28. The wheels are a 17x10 ZR1 corvette wheel. The car has Strano lowering springs as well. I'm looking for a taller tire to take in some of the space in the fender well. I hate to give up the width that the 315-35 has but I'd be willing to give up some width for height. I can't go any lower because of my exhaust. What would be a good size to take up some of the fender well gap? The front tire size is 275/40-17.

I mean, you have a lot of options, X/YrZ is your tire formula, X being width, Y being hieght and Z being wheel size, so, you could go 275/45r17 front and 315/40r17 rear, (assuming the BFH mod would make it all fit and you could find tires that size, or you could go 245 front and 275 rear.)

really just focus on that Y value. going up one size (so Y+5) from stock is probably the most you can do without major rubbing issues.
