Special Edition Vehicles - Air filters for the LT1 Firehawks/WS6's.

I need to backtrack here on the little things now. I have an old K&N vette air filter for my hawk. It's almost as old as the car, got it in 1995. It's thinner than a standard air filter that came with it so I'm looking for recommendations for a replacement.

Don't know if there are any new types of airfilters for the ram air Firehawks/WS6's. So if you got a recommendation I'm all ears. My dyno/tune is this upcoming monday so I could either clean and re-oil the K&N I have now or pick up something new.

You need the K&N from a 93 Corvette. It's a floppy flexible style air filter not the later 96+ one that had a hard plastic outer edge.

I don't think they make these anymore but in all honesty I ran a stock Delco paper filter in mine and during a dyno session borrowed a friend's K&N to see if anything changed and I saw absolutely zero HP increase.

I ran an Accel blue filter in my airbox, worked great
