LS3 Vette M6 vs LS1 Camaro M6
The Vette is bone stock and my car is in my sig full bolt ons and 75 shot dry bottle pressure was at about 825-850psi.
1st Race: The vette started in 3rd from about 60mph and went to about 120mph got it by 2-2 1/2 cars.
2nd Race: The Vette started in 2nd gear and went from about the same speeds and got it by 1- 1 1/2 cars to about 118-120mph.
He was shocked because he thought he would pull on me, i was a bit shocked as well because i really wasnt expecting much and thought i would lose either way. After the 1st run my clutch was soft to say the least and battered but all that slipping it does going from 3rd to 4th in one way helps me because the tires dont slip or chirp crazy but robs power since it feels like it bogs a bit right after i shift. Once im comfortable with my a/f and get a retune i will go up to 125 shot dry.

It definitely isn't cheap but I would install it myself so no labor costs. I have an extra vehicle though so I can afford to put the Camaro down for a weekend. Unfortunately, like many others, I start getting the "while I'm in there" vibe and start purchasing other stuff for the car. That's when it starts hurting the wallet. Like you said, gotta pay to play.

your lucky you can do the install, last time i swapped clutches i was on my friends driveway till 1am and we started early morning. Gotta jack that car way high, im lucky i work at a dealer so labor will be cheaper but will see what happens. I gotta tackle getting the car tuned properly so im gonna install my a/f guage and get a reading and send it off to my tuner to get it better dialed in. You live in upland ca thats right off the 10 or 210 i think i use to go out there alot upland and montclair chino.

let me know for sure, im seriously considering it since its hella notchy going from 2nd to 3rd or 4th to 5th. Trying to smooth it out a bit easier to get into those gears.

I hear that. Back when I was a young lad, I worked 60 hr weeks detailing cars at a body shop for what seemed like pennies. A bunch of crap jobs later, I work good old 9-5 on weekdays. I have a few buddies in my Syclone club that are talking about getting together soon so I will let you know if we put it together. We usually end up out your direction.

Thank you for the business, Craig Gibbs, I know you'll love our kit.
karpetcm, the costs add up quickly, for sure. We offer a Tick & Monster COMPLETE Clutch Swap Package that we sell together at a discounted rate for guys who want to purchase everything they need to replace/upgrade for a clutch install at the same time: http://www.tickperformance.com/ls1-f...-swap-package/
It isn't the absolute cheapest, but it's certainly the most valuable.
