I believe SLP sells the hoods and I would assume an LT1 Firehawk hood would fit on an LT1 TA but I'm not sure.

Yes the firehawk hood will fit. Good luck finding a real one. Unless SLP has changed there policy, they are real **** about selling firehawk parts to non firehawk owners. They don't like clones.

Check out the totaled cars section at Hawks Third Gen. They have a few LT1 Hawks with good hoods I think.

IIRC it requires some modifications to the bumper where the nose meets up as well as the hood latch.

P.S. Congrats on the new ride!

racing tiger what hood are you using? doesn't look like a suncoast (mine has the token "slightly higher left side" thing going on) wish mine fit that good and even! OP there are a few aftermarket options that are available and requre no mods to the bumper. Suncoast like mine but they to take a bit of matching up. there was another brand on here (looks like racingtigers) and i almost wish i would have waited because from what i can remember they are hard to come by / made in batches...

Mine is a knockoff Superhawk hood. It is much larger in the cowl and nostril section than a firehawk. Thus much more aggressive, and Thanks for the compliment but that angle reflects the positives of the hood and not the TRUE fitment.. I'm a photographer by trade and hobby lol. The fitment itself is actually horrible and I have some pics in my sig link that show it for when people ask about it. Mine is 1.25" shorter on the leftmost edge than the right.. along with some other measurements that aren't even close to being "in spec". US Exotics was the original producer of the superhawk and someone else purchased the mold for them this year. I can't comment any further on that as I sent them a message asking for a price noting I was going to buy in September of this year, and never heard back

The Raptor hood is a good second option that doesn't require any modifications to fit and IIRC was a pretty good fitment as well.
