Default Adjusting BLS Kit

I finally got around to adjusting my bls kit today. They were ok after I first installed them, but I needed to raise them a couple of degrees. The problem I ran into though is that the spring on the top adjuster is compressed as far as possible. Has anyone used a smaller spring or cut the one in there to get more adjustment out of it? Thanks for any info.

Loosen the bottom bolt then the top will raise some. I had to do this many a times but stripped my adjuster screws, lol. Be careful!

I've tried so many different nut/bolt combinations that I forget where mine is at right now... SO, yes I have tried it, but sorry, I can't help. LOL.

Make sure the bottom bolt isn't too tight otherwise adjusting the top will be not work. You can shorten the spring but I'm surprised you are running out of adjustment. Feel free to email or PM me if you run into any issues.
