Default This Isn't Good.

Dropped my A4 for a Torque Converter change, and found my flywheel cracked in 3 places. I'm trying to post pics...

Anyone else had Flywheel Issues?

Side Note: My car only has 55XXX Original Miles/Stock Flywheel.

Flexplate breakage is a known issue on the '01+ cars. The '98-'00 plate was stronger, but it's probably easier and better to just get an aftermarket one.

Aftermarkets like $2-300. It's worth it in the long run.

I found the same thing when I did my stall on my 01. My car only has 60k on it as well.

I got one of the cheap SFI rated flexplates.

It was under $100 shipped and well worth it. Even sold my stock 98 one for a decent amount since they have some extra mounting holes or something...swap guys like them for something along those lines.

It's all replaced, and I'm back in America now, driving her. She needs a tune now. But I'm going to wait till the end of my deployment.
