I've had an X2 and an X4, they were both great. Only broke 1 spring when I had the X2. I run the partiot dual golds. If you keep breaking springs I would put a new set on before changing the cam, just my opinion though. How much do you drive the car?

Do you let the engine warm up before you take off driving, or skip the warm up?

I don't see the cam being the issue, that's really not a lot of lift. Were the springs set to the correct install height?

This x50

What's the install height? Coil bind?

You said you keep breaking springs. Is it the same set? Did you replace the broken spring and let the others go? How many miles are on the springs, where they broken in properly?

It really doesn't make sense to put another cam in there thinking that will fix the problem.

Especially considering he's going with a cam with aggressive/high lift lobes!
