race one i line up with the black z06. it immediatly pulls 2 cars from 50 to 90 mph and then i miss third and immediately hit the brakes

race two against the black z06. started at 50 and I drove my *** off but wass still 2-3 cars back by 140. just a really fast car!

race 3 I lined with the silver z06. I didnt really know what to expect since he was a smaller guy with no passenger. what happenned next was pretty kool. he pulled then i pulled and from 50 to 140 we ended right beside eachother. pretty happy with that.

race 4 we went from 70 and man his car just catapulted from that roll speed. i shut down early because of a upcoming curve around 120 mph but he just kept acelerateing. neverthe less when I hit the brakes at 120 he was a car to 1.5 ahead

we went again from 50. i got a slight jump on the 3beep and had a fender at 140

Good runs! I was shocked at how fast the stock C6Z was that I raced. My bench racing calculator said he was going to win, but I didn't expect it to be completely one sided.

A 50 roll(about 4k rpm) on a z06 is kind of a dead spot. it feels lazy with throttle response, due to the low rpms and long gears. Ive noticed that 1st hand many times. A 65-70 roll( about 5-5.5k rpms)in 2nd gear is where the z06 really shines. On my dyno graph there is only about a 20wtq difference from 4k and 5k rpms. but hp wise there is almost a 100whp difference. Thats is why you guys were neck and neck from a 50 roll, but started to get pulled from the get go on the 70 roll. The z06 with its extra long gearing really needs a 3.73 or higher!

The 500 rwhp viper vs 500 rwhp z06 was good racin. The supercharged z06 looked like chainsaw massacre vs a 20 year old college student.

Ive whooped on 600 hp supras and was only a car behind a 600 gtr. But the 600 z06 was as fast as the last 750 awhp gtr I raced. Speaking of wich I herd theirs a certain gtr that wants some of the supercharged z06. Should be fun racin

Its weird as i thought the viper hit 59 mph in first and the vette hits 61 mph in first that 70 would be the same. But 70 in my car was low in the rpms. Damn those stock 3.07 gears!!!

Quite interesting the way they made power. It was literally a back and fourth seesaw effect. Very fun. Naturally id like a run both with no passengers.

Gotta give the 500 rwhp z06 owner some props. He was banging out those gears!

My friend in his 580rwhp n/a z06 this weekend raced a supercharged viper and put about 1/2 a car on it from 50-140mph.
