Well guys I failed to get videos tonight, sorry. Anyways my t/a is the turd that can't beat a 2V. Trex Cam, FAST 102, full exhaust, 4l80 4.11 gears, race weight ~4000 lbs. No nitrous. Car made 406 on a dynojet Tuesday night and 433 on a Mustang Dyno last Saturday. Opponents- 02 Camaro SS unknown cam, unknown stall, full bolt ons. Tuned by a different tuner on a different dyno, made 421. Camaro police edition with catback, intake and 150 shot.
I was excited because I haven't gotten a chance to run another Fbody since I've had this car.
First race- 02 SS, he insists on a dig, I insist its a bad idea for him (it's 37 degrees out and he's on bald nittos). We end up doing a dig, I dead hook he spins for days.
Second race- 02 SS gets smart and decides he wants a roll. We kick it off from 30, a pretty good spot for me in 1st. From 30-115 I put 2 cars on him.
Third race- Police Camaro insists on a dig. Once again I inform him that he has no chance, he should ask his buddy how the other dig went. He demands a dig. I dead hook and let off at 60 about 3 busses ahead.
Fourth race- Police Camaro- 35 roll I let him jump and put about 4 cars on him till 90.
Fifth race- Police Camaro- 35 roll, I let him jump again and I must have found a wet spot or something because I blow the fucking tires off as soon as I lay in it. The car was skating all over the road through 1st and 2nd. I let off shortly after shifting into 2nd about 2 cars ahead.
Conclusion- My car seems to do pretty well for a non-2V beating overweight turd and spinning ain't winning!
