Any one using BTO TV made easy on a Stock LQ9
Having some trouble with the bracketry, not sure if the kit had a stock 2003 intake manifold in mind, or I could have a different throttle bracket than intended for the kit. This engine has been changed from DBW.
Bowtie overdrives have been very helpful over the phone, but it sounds like we are talking apples and oranges.
Thanks for any help or pictures

I think it is correct, but I'm going to let the guys at BTO comfirm.
The LQ9 requires the Vortec bracket and cable. The LS1 kit cable is too long and the mounting bracket on the LS1 kit is on the two left front intake bolts.
The cable with the yellow tag is the Vortec cable.
The picture on the right is the Vortec bracket viewed from the front.
Excellent customer service from BTO.

I don't have my glasses and the pics are small but I think that's right. Here is what BTO told me was correct in the first two pics here - https://ls1tech.com/forums/14489341-post86.html

Sure. Bowtie Overdrives sells a "TV made easy" kit for the LS1. I ordered this kit by mistake. I called and reported that my cable was too long and they told me that I needed their Vortec cable instead. Since I don't have the plastic covers on my engine I forgot about the "Vortec Max" identification. when I think Vortec I still thinking about the pre "LS" engines. The "Vortec" cable sold by BTO fits the Stock LQ9.
