2001 Trans Am - built Twin Turbo - UPDATED!
Year: 2001
Make: Pontiac
Model: Trans Am
Price: $18000
Mileage: 8000
Private or Dealer Listing: Private Listing
Location (State): PA
Color: Black
Transmission: Manual
Drivetrain: Rear Wheel Drive
I'm going to put up for sale my 2001 twin turbo Trans Am...
I don't have to get rid of it, so I won't take some low-ball number... I have title in hand and I am interested in a quick sale for the right price... Car is located just outside of Pittsburgh, PA
I'm asking 18,000 O.B.O.... I will entertain any offers - but I'm not particularly interested in any trades
The car has 82K miles on it - the turbo kit, built motor, etc. all have 8K miles... The car was built to be a nice weather DD, but nowadays i have 3 cars, so i don't DD it... however, it is still very capable of that...
Car was just retuned - please see later post for more detail... made 615/607 on a Mustang dyno that is known to read 22% low ... so that's 788/778 on a dynojet... this is on 13.5psi, 15* of timing and 11.2 A/F ratio
I know one big concern people have with a massive hp car like this is its ability to take a long trip... this car has been on numerous long trips (several hours) non-stop, and has even made 1 trip across the state (6 hours) without a single hiccup.. i havent' checked it in a long time, but it has gotten upwards of 30mpg on long trips, thanks to the 3.08 gears
The black exterior is flawless - seriously looks like a car with 10K miles...
Interior is perfect as well.. Car still has full heat and A/C...

ttt...
the new clutch was installed this past weekend and i picked the car up today.... feels absolutely amazing... put the same Spec 3+ clutch in the car, but this time it feels WAY better...
i'll put a couple hundred miles on her, and then get a re-tune...
If there's any interest in the meantime, please PM me...

Unfortunately we didn't get on the dyno yesterday... Just ran out of time and I was last on the list - he didn't have the time to completely retune the car, and it appear like that is what will be necessary, as i think the current tune is locked and can't be just tweeked...
As long as the weather cooperates, i'm sure it'll get finished up here pretty soon... thsi weeks weather doesn't look good, but we'll just have to hold out and wait for some good weather
