HELPPPPP!!!!!!! Dumb 4L60E wont shift!
Hello folks I need some help/advice. First off I have a 2000 ws6 H/c/i/built 4l60E, 2800 custom stall, shift kit, synthetic fluids, motive 373 gears and a mail order tune from frost so I can get this lug to the dyno. Trans was built by a professional shop about 1 1/2 years ago and has been flawless until my recent cylinder head swap. When I first got the Pcm back after my head swap everything worked fine. I had been doing some light driving to get to 100 miles for my first oil change then dyno. But last night I got big headed and did a race with a 2010 SRT8 jeep cherokee (which I won by 5 cars by the way; now my car is giving me ****. The car will go in to reverse very very well; but the problem is when I put it into regular drive it pulls off sluggish and wont shift into second gear. Also it wont move when I put it in first manually unless I press the gas really really hard. Put it in second manual and it pulls right off
Where do I start with diagnosing?
What do I need to do to fix this problem?
Thanks in advance!

I got your PM and replied. Then I saw a bit more info about the failure here in the thread after that reply. In that response I wasn't aware that you have been driving it since the motor upgrades.
Point is, it appears as though your Low Roller is slipping or not applying at all. It is only used in low gear.

It pulls off sluggish but then won't shift to second?
Sounds like you're in second dude. You need to have someone look at it that can properly diagnose what its doing or not doing.

The service engine light is on so ill borrow my friend scanner and pull the codes. Fluid still looks like it did since it was first poured in. When the car is at normal operating temp the fluid touches the first dot on the stick so Ill fill it to the proper spot. And for the smell it does not smell burnt.
@ 01ssreda4 living in a small town I dont have may options on letting a shop look at it to diagnose the prob since the nearest trans shop is 35 to 40 mins away. Didn't wanna take a chance on driving it that far and messing something up even worst if you know what I mean.
@ Gilbert is this an easy fix if it is the problem?

Those codes are related to the engine. 2 are O2 sensor codes and one refers to the engine idle being too low.
You need to have someone who knows how to diagnose your condition look at it. I know it's tough to get the car to someone, but that needs to happen at this point my friend.
