pARK THE CAR DURING A NICE SUNNY DAY, SO THE GLUE CAN SOFTEN. Grrrr, (Caps Lock!) <img border="0" title="" alt="[Mad]" src="gr_images/icons/mad.gif" /> Then with a old credit card, plastic scraper, or a plastic rasor blade, start scraping. It may take quite some time or it may come off real quick. Then use Goo Gone or the like to remove any remain adhesive.
What ever you do DO NOT USE A METAL RAZOR BLADE!!!! Glass today is rather soft and very succeptable to scratching.

If you can get it started, SLOWLY start peeling the sticker close to parallel with the window. If it's just vinyl, it should peel off o.k.

Re: How to remove Window decal...
We use metal razor blades all the time on new cars for removing stickers, as long as you're not a moron, you wont hurt it.
But yes, using a hair dryer, or a heat gun or even letting it sit in the sun for awhile will unset the glue a little bit, and help w/ removal. Just take your time, and do it slowly. Dont try and rip it off in one quick motion.
And to remove the reside left, you can use like rubbing alcohol, paint thinner or something like that on a rag. Just be careful, cause altho it probably wont hurt the paint too much, you dont wanna just go dousing your paint w/ that stuff. Just take your time, and it'll be fine.

If it's on the outside, use Rain-X on it. And if you use them in the future, Rain-X the window first. I use to do that on a windshield sticker years ago and it always stayed on until I wanted it off, then it came off easy with no heat.
