Good..Bad...Good.. 347 PT88 12psi Dyno Results
Well Finally had my car tuned friday at DB Performance in Rogers MN. Only got a couple hours of tuning done. 12psi is that last run we were able to make, it put down 691rwhp. After that i had no oil pressure at idle... We wrapped it up i paid what i owed. I thought i lost my engine but turns out the oil got to hot and broke down. After it cooled down the pressure was back up and back to normal. When i got home i changed to oil out, put some 10w40 GTX in it. Its been fine since. Im going to try and get it back there this week. My tuner said he didnt even start adding timing yet. We were planning on cranking it up to 15-16 psi before i lost oil pressure. Anyway here is my setup.. This is with 91 octane no meth!
2000 SS Camaro T56
Forged 347 8.5:1
Ported 317
TU1 Speed inc cam
Typhoon intake(Basically LS6)
PT88 turbo 4" downpipe
Oh and yes its fast as ****!

4" all the way to the back of the tranny. Not sure if a 3.5dp would be sufficent. It probly would be fine but your going to lose some hp and it most likely spool slower. i think the pt88 comes with a 93mm or 89mm?? Yea I think 690rwhp is pretty damn good for a 347 12psi on pump gas. i was surprised.

Says T56 in the first post.
I would think that air filter is way to small.
Nice number but I would have expected a little more at 12psi with a t56
(as I did 676rwhp at 12psi Procharged on my old 347 with stock 241 heads)
I think haven't had mine on the dyno yet but using HP estimaters from what the car weighs and what it has run at the track mine is near 900 crank on 15 psi with my 347
Congrats on getting it up and running hopefully nothing it hurt on your motorm with the oil pressure issues

Yea theres still alot left to tweak with the tune.. The tuner hadnt messed with timing and its still rich up top. Ill look up what the timing at wot is at right now and let you guys know. It didnt want to make power past 6400 rpms, Im staring to think it could be the filter...

wow, just went on a cruise. The thing pulls like a frieght train! It hooks about 50% of the time in 4th. Any other gear is a joke. Time for some Drag Radials! Im thinking about buying some 325/40/18 M&H Racemasters. Anyone use these?

That intake is a leaking pos, you need to get rid of it. Not sure what valve springs you're running but it's looking like valve float over 6200 rpm. Looks pretty laggy, which I always assumed an 88 with a 347 and a t56 would be. 4th gear burnouts are absolutely retarded, what kind of pizza cutters are you running?
