4th gen 1 - 5th gen 0

4th gen 1 - 5th gen 0 ran into this guy on the way home from work in mexico. impromptu, no vids, i apologize.
99 ws6 m6 - whisper lid, ory, weld in flowmaster 80 series and pro 5.0 w/short stick.
5th gen a6 ss - unknown mods, sounded dead stock. not sure what year or how to tell. never seen this car or guy before in my life.
he was darting about traffic and i believe tried to get me from a slower roll, but we were amidst too many cars. once the highway opened up he accelerated quickly and i followed. we cleared the cars and then: he bit from a 60 mph roll
just as i got along side him (in 6th gear) he floored it. by the time i engaged 3rd gear and got rolling my front bumper was at his back bumper. i proceeded to stop his pull and pull another 3/4-1 length on him to the top of 3rd. i clicked 4th, pulled for a couple seconds then let out. it appeared he let out of it when i shifted. i got back in the slow lane then he passed me and never looked back.
the ws6 trapped 87.9999999999999999999 in the 1/8.

GK! Man, those things are pitiful. The auto is an utter disgrace. Doesnt stop the owners from trying though. I had a stock auto try to pull on me after we hit 3 consecutive red lights...weird I know. He musta thought the race gods were telling him something. I let him get out half a fender before I mashed it. Not that I expected a real fight, but damn.

the 5th gens look ok maybe in 10 years ill own one ( nova and chevelle come first) but i hate the douches that pick em up and get flashy paint or all blacked out and think they can roll on any camaro bcuz there newer. as if people know nothing of weight these days.....

It really is sad how allot of these 4th gen owners treat us like mustang drivers! When most of us are camaro guys at hart and have owned many other past camaro's! O well, lots of haters and ******** no matter what you drive.

Who is hating it?? Dude post a win over 5th gen....that's is all. Now if someone posts a win, is a hater. Some of you are behaving like the stereotype you are all trying so hard to avoid. You are getting old and pathetic.
If something, you have disrespected a lot of 4th gen owners with the silly (and stupid) argument about how we dont like the car because we can not afford it. The majority of 5th gen owners in this thread have used that stupid argument at least once in these threads.

Good for you but I said the majority...not ALL of them. Do a bit of research, you will see that indeed you partners there have used that epic piece of fail argument a couple of times.
Jackasses drive all kind of cars. Be thankful they sell Camaros today.
I don't ever recall saying that. Maybe you should get better glasses if you didn't see any hate after the first post.

no way dude. chitown is a 4.5 hr drive from here.
anywhere from 13.7 to 13.2 - that 88mph 1/8 mile pass it went 8.29 on a 1.96 60', it was an 1/8 track. it had 18psi in the back tires.
the car was lowered on sportlines for the last 6 years, and ran those times as such. i put the stock springs back on it month ago. i'd like to think it would go mid 12s given that 1/8 and mph. it consistently picks up 25 mph on the tophalf.
i have wanted to race a stock or near stock ss m6 car, but i haven't had any luck around here. i ran into a guy with a 2010 a6 ss that had arh long tubes and flowmaster mufflers, but he would not race me. he literally used the phrase "no offense, but i'd smoke you too bad". he actually said that to me. this is right after i asked what headers he had and if he had cats...to which he looked at his brother and shrugged.
i raced another automatic from 30ish and had 4 cars on him by the time i hit the top of 3rd. we tried different speeds all resulting in the same thing. seems about right, i guess, seeing that i put roughly a car on this one from 60 after starting a length behind it.
