Default Stock Converter bolts???

I can't budge the converter bolts. I am trying to take them out to put in the 3500 stall...what can I do?

If you have tried to remove them, you know space is limited. Mine are the allen heads...I thoght maybe they were left hand threads, but everyplace I look says nothing about that...

Would heating them up and then cooling them quick do anything??

What are you using to get them out with? Try a Rachet with a Alan wrench socket.

I had to use a 3/8 extra long breaker bar, like 15inch of something, becareful not to strip the bolts out.

1 of the 3 bolt holes was smaller than the other two during my install at cartek and they ended up just using an air chisel and spinning all three off...youll probably also end up opening up that one hole to get the new bolts in.

Yes, I used a ratchet with an allen hex socket. I ended up taking a propane torch and heating the flexplate around the bolts.

Eventually they all popped loose.

That 3500 stall looks so lonely in the box! It needs a new home
