Default Lightest possible rods/pistons?

im new to the internals of these things, considering im an SI car iv never really researched anything but i was wanting to know what the lightest possible rods/pistons are ? also what do the stock weigh ? im pretty sure u can get lighter than stock for a heafty price.

I'd speak with one of the many engine builders. Or you might take a look at what the LS7s are running. The theme throughout that power plant was lite weight. FWIW, not sure but I think most of the aftermarket rods will be heavier than stock.
