Default Ls1 modifaction help

I have an orange 99 camaro..i need some advice about manifolds... can ANYONE help me out.. some guy in victorville intake manifold with throttle body, fuel rails and fuel injectors for a GM Vortech (LS) engine. It's off of a 5.3 and will fit a 4.8,5.3,6.0. Also works great on an LS1 or LS2 motor. Perfect condition with less then 30,000 miles on it. ($70) ... will it fit my car... and a guy in Hacienda Heights is offering me a VICTOR JR INTAKE MANIFOLD FOR BBC. THIS INTAKE CAME OFF MY 454 BBC AND ONLY HAS ABOUT 20 MILES ON IT IF THAT, LIKE BRAND NEW. NOTHING WRONG WITH IT. COMES WITH THERMOSTAT HOUSING AND CARB STUDES AND PLUGS. ($120) will this work ... what is best for my LS1

Two problems:

The 5.3 manifold is too tall, it will not fit under the cowl/windshield on your 1999 Camaro (as he said above).

The Vic Jr is for BBC, it will not fit your LS1 engine.

Yea neither will work. BBC intake COMPLETELY different. Get a ls6 intake and be done with it, their is usually a few in the classifieds section for sale.

Just buy an LS6 Manifold from the parts classifieds and save up for a FAST. 100% the way to go and you won't be sorry.

Actually the truck intakes flow better than the LS1 intakes with the exception of the years they put LS6 intakes on LS1's ,,,,,,,,,,but no the truck intakes won't clear hood on camaros .

I will have to agree with above on the ls6 intake. For the money and extra hp an ls6 has to be the best route/choice to go with on an ls.
