Eastern Members - Central MD Need Lift -- TODAY

Does anybody have lift access that I could take advantage of? I planned on doing my headers and MM install today but I can't use any on base and I have 3 friends that took off work to help out today. I know its really last minute but if anyone can help me out in the Carroll/Howard County area PM me

If you have 3 friends looking to help, find 2 to 4 jack stands and a hyd. jack and go for it. Its not hard with all the extra people. Just some extra manuvering and maybe having to play with the height of the jacks.

I've done it a few times on a few different cars. But I do hope you find someone willing to help.

OR see if anyone local will let you "rent" a lift for a reasonable price. I have seen a few people do that if the shop is slow.

Yeah I've already asked for local shops to rent a lift, they're all full lol. I'm just going to have to scrap the plans today which really sucks. I've been waiting for today for 3 weeks :bang:

And none of us have a jack to get the car that high off the ground either

If you have a jack you can get the car on to the stands and then with a BLOCK of wood, jack the car back up again. With some HD stands I have gotten the car off the ground by a good 2-3 feet easy on all 4 corners. Just need to do it in stages.

This is a buddy of mine doing a LT header install on a LT1 and he is a 90 pound Asian Engineer from Mississippi who did this by himself. Had plenty of room. I cannot find the pic on the site anymore but he go the car higher then this doing the stage thing that I suggested.
