03 C5 M6 218/226 EPS DIY241s (approx. 15/25 cfm improvement from stock)
BBK shorty headers Speed Inc. tune (Jim Moran)...stock air intake w/K&N filter
3.42 gears and Corsa CB.....car ran 12.92 @ 114.34 on runflats with a YAWN
2.31 sixty ft.....78 degree day w/1600 DA....track is @ 600ft.
Either today or tomorrow I'll find out what some 265/40/18 MT drag radial IIs
are worth. Tried a 3grand launch last night on a cold farm road and didn't
even knock the nubz off. Just like that I'm under geared AND underpowered.
Ha Ha.....what are your predictions for ET and MPH assuming the 60ft. should
drop by at least 1/2 sec. and the weather will be 58-62 degrees, mostly sunny
almost forgot...car dynoed 365/344 rear.....thanks for guessing

Power guesses on new mod. Removed the BBK shorties, factory head pipes
with 4 cats, and Corsa X-pipe. New XS Power system 1.75" LTs with merge
collector and spike, 3" X before hiflow cats, full 3" back to existing Corsa
axle-back. Now I know most say shorties are :gay: but I'm not too sure that
there's a huge gain to be had here. Vette shorties have about 12-14"
primary tubes and a 2.75" collector. The hiflow cats with the 3" pipes and the
X-pipe being off the collectors instead of at the rear of the car IMO should
give me about 15 more ponies after a new tune (which I'll get in spring). Any
guesstimates or experiences with similar swaps much appreciated.

So I went to GLD @ Union Grove today.....weather was 73 and overcast.
Don't know DA but again this lil LS1 continues to impress me. Still have yet
to retune after header upgrade and I ran some 91 octane non-reformulated.
The car was last tuned on 10% ethanol 93 octane.
First pass was 12.07 @ 117.21 mph.......1.85 60 ft.
Third pass was 12.17 @ 117.61 mph.......1.88 60 ft.
Averaged just over 32 mpgs there and 33.5 home....70 miles each way all hwy
Admittedly not the fastest car or anything but a retune and a chilly fall day
might net me an eleven second E.T. with such a small cam and minimal mods.

Figured I give an update although still NOT retuned after header upgrade.
11.877 @ 119.85 w/1.760 60 ft.
