Negative 2.8cc pistons nets 13.86:1 @ zero deck. Certainly race gas/ethanol compression level.

Umm, man if you dont have a clue about CR, and it sounds like you dont, then Im gona go out ona limb and say you dont have any business fooling with a 14 to 1 motor. Dont take that the wrong way. 14 to 1 is HIGH.....it wont run on pump gas I can tell you that.

lol i know but i wanna be sure , This is not my first build but wanna be sure like i said , I built many engines for my customers but this is the strongest motor i wanna build for Street race car , LSX 454 ,LS7 All pro heads 410CFM , Solid roller , 400HP through foggers , fast 102 intake , kooks 2 inch headers , How that sounds ?

Also we built the strongest motor for Drag strip BBF 632ci with 1000HP of nitrous

14:1 will run fine on 100 octane, but C16 is one better, will be able to get more power from the motor.

I'm confused is it a flat top, domed or dished?

Is it domed + ? with -2.8 valve reliefs?
Is it flat with -2.8cc valve reliefs?

Is that a stock GM head gasket?

I would seriously check PTV at this compression. What cam are you using?
