98 Camaro SS HVAC issues. Hello, I hope this is in the right section but anyway, I have a 1998 Camaro SS and love the hell out of it, however one VERY annoying problem is that the HVAC controls don't work properly.
The **** that allows you to turn the fans on/off and also change whether they go to the windshield, upper and lower works in the sense that I can turn them on and off but I can't set them to be specifically upper, lower or just windshield. It's either on or off and that's it.
So i'm wondering is this an issue with the **** and the electronics that work whatever changes the airflow? Or perhaps something wrong with the mechanisms that open and close the vents?
Im totally a noob
and apologize for the lack of understanding but hopefully someone has a hint at whats up? Or if anyone else has had similiar issues?
