Default Ls1 intake egr covers

Does anyone sell the nice thick aluminum egr covers that had the plug machined into it anymore?? I found some on ebay several months ago and I can not find them anywhere.

For the intake, you could use a freeze plug. I forget the size but I bought a packaged deal awhile back that had block off plates for the EGR and AIR, along with a plug for the intake. I thought I bought it from UMI but when I checked to find the link, I only saw the package for the LT1. I can try and see if I still have the receipt when I get home and get back to you. I know Hawks Third Gen carries them as well.

I think I just ordered all my block off plates from speed inc, had the intake manifold one for like 2.99 or something.

Much better than some guys wanting like 20 bucks for it lol.

no i havent seen those lately. i think those were plug covers that had SS or an emblem engraved on them

cheapest thing to do is buy the freeze plug from autozone and then break the fitting off of the factory egr and use a thin sheet of aluminum as a gasket. I had one of those OSHA approved box cutter sleeves laying around and just cut two holes in it and it sealed great between the header and that end egr fitting. total cost $3.29

I appreciate the input...but I guess I should have been more clear. I already have an expansion plug stuck in it.. I just want something that looks nicer than that. It's an Ls6 intake btw. The first owner drilled a hole in it to hook the egr back up for emissions check in ohio.

I used a traditional freeze plug instead of an expansion plug. Paint it black and it looks like a factory non drilled intake.

Still not something that stands out or draws attention, but looks better than expansion plugs to me. I think it was a Ford 460 block plug of some kind, perfectly snug fit and I tapped it in with a hammer.

We have them here:http://emblempros.com/inc/sdetail/1249/1982
This is a GM licensed part, so all GM logos are available on it in the black laser etching, or the ghost silver etching for $24.99.
If you do not want logos, we can sell it for less. That saves us the time to do the logos, and the GM royalties.
Three different finishes of stainless available
Mirror
Brushed
Black Onyx

Turnaround time would be 1-2 business days.

Thanks, Roger
