1997 Z28 vs first gen turbo eagle talon Raced a first gen turbo eagle talon. Unknown modds guy claims he was running low 13's with it. We raced two times, first time I didn't clean the tires and he got me on the take off, spun 1st and 2nd, I hit 3rd and went past him like he wasn't moving and continued to pull hard, he told me his speedo was reading 120 and I was about 5 bus lengths in front of him still pulling hard. Second race cleaned off the tires real good and got him from the take off and well..... I continued to pull on him. Had fun, got to meet somebody new overall it was a good night.

Remember when we use to race your white lt1 vs my fox..lol. We came back and Hio couldn't believe i beat you. He was trying to pop the screen out of the mass air, I miss those days.

dang. beatin up on dsms.
i'm waiting on a race with a 1g talon. he is more or less sandbagging his mods, so i really don't know what to expect. claims he is on stock turbo and most stock parts. i know the car is gutted. the same setup on another car went high 12s @ 106.
he keeps waiting to bring it out, our dig race will be pointless. it's so cold now, i can't even get traction until the top of 2nd gear; from a roll in 1st. i think i will yank his *** from a roll, spinning or not. i really don't care enough to put DRs on it.
