Hey guys, so my search yielded me a bunch of mixed opinions.... A few guys liked their aftermarket, others said they suck.... Whats the best functional hood for the price? Anybody have good results with an AM SS hood???
Thanks Guys!

i think youre gonna keep getting mixed reviews cus not everyone expects the same as others. Ive heard nothing but good reviews about VFN hoods, and theres a guy who has bought more than one ebay hood, and hes had no problem.

The way i see it, you can press your luck and purchase at ebay, or secure your purchase with a more expensive one from a trusted company.

Try looking around localy cus shippings gonna suck on a hood.

Dooood... there's no such thing as an "ebay hood". Ebay does NOT manufacture anything or have their own line of ebay branded merchandise. People sell things on ebay that could be made from any manufacturer in the world.

I had what I think was a true fiber ss hood. I am not sure what it was, it came on my car. I hated it. Went back to a stock Z hood.

VFN is the only place I would buy an aftermarket hood from.

I like harwood's personally. Not an SS style, but to me it is the best looking cowl and ram air hood for LT1 style camaros.

I think with the ss hood the ram air system that comes with it looks retarded a clutters up the engine bay. Id say get a VFN sunoco and do the lid swap.
