stock heads or milled LES than .015 use 7.40 any more, then 7.3XX will do but honest ly its not gonna matter too much cuz our lifter can compensate. someone chime in if ive been misled, but im using stock PRs with tr230/224 heads milled .015

Shaved heads aren't the only thing to consider when it comes to pushrod length. You have to look at the base circle of the replacement can vs the stock cam and take that into account.

ibjamin......I understand. Doing some investigating for a friend. Don't know base circle on his cam/ haven't done the math. All I know is the cam specs and a .015 mill on a 5.3 head. Plenty of room with my setup. Heads are only milled .010 though.
