Slp catback

So i have a slp catback no resonator and was thinking since i have a magnaflow resonator sitting in the garage would it be basically like a lm2 also i have headers 3 inch ory

From what ive gathered, a LM2 is a muffler, while the LM1 is only a resonator.

If you look inside both, they look the same.
The LM2 is slightly more civilized. Not much, just a little.

I thought it was a resonator just with baffels im asking because i bought the catback for 40 bucks and i wanted to change out my magnaflow muffler to quiet for me
