The end of the year is here, and DBA is looking to clear out some warehouse space and make inventory easier. To do so, they have given us an awesome deal on a limited quantity of 4000 series slotted rotors for the F-body. These are sold as a complete set, and once they sell out (about 10 sets), the sale goes away. This is the best price you will ever see on a set of premium OEM replacement rotors!

These rotors normally run about $550, but we are offering this one time sale of $239.95 SHIPPED! Keep in mind..rotors are heavy and can easily cost $100 to ship.

Need Pads? We also Sell Hawk and EBC pads at the link below-
http://marylandspeed.com/brakes-brake-pads-c-49_107_428.html

The PT#'s included in this package are-

PT# 42996SL - Left Front 4000 Series 6x6 Wiper Slotted Rotor
PT# 42996SR - Right Front 4000 Series 6x6 Wiper Slotted Rotor
PT# 42997SL - Left Rear 4000 Series 6x6 Wiper Slotted Rotor
PT# 42997SR - Right Rear 4000 Series 6x6 Wiper Slotted Rotor

Want an OEM replacement better than the cheap Chinese rotors most places sell? Look no further than these DBA 4000 Series Wiper Slotted Rotors! Disc Brakes Australia (DBA) is one of the premium OEM replacement manufactuers in the world. They manufactuer all of their rotors out of special alloys, and then machine them in house. These rotors are their mid level rotors, which are much better than stock, and can stand mild racing applications. They come with heat paint on them also that changes colors when it reaches a certain temp so you know how hot your rotors are getting.

Don't settle for cheap Chinese rotors on your performance car. Many of the rotors sold on ebay are sourced from China, and then have slots and fancy designs cut in them after the fact. On top of the inferior metals used in manufacture, these also have an added risk of failure since they are machined by a company who did not manufactuer them after the fact. These rotors can have slots, or holes cut right through the casting that holds both side of the rotors togethor.

Note: With F-body rotors, the fronts are Kangaroo Paw, the rears are traditional curved vane rotors that are reverse vented.

I haven't received my rotors yet, but Maryland Speed shipped them the day after I ordered and they will be at my door by tommorow eveing so if your on the fence about ordering them based on a time crunch these guys are incredible about shipping product quickly. As for quality I priced some part store brands and I had never heard of most of them, with the exception of their best rotor, a Wagner. For the fronts alone it was going to be around $125 before tax. Once I calculated the rears in it was going to end up being around $200 or more after tax. Again this was for Wagner rotors. Not saying that their rotors are horrible, but for $30 more dollars I would take my chances on a rotor made by a company that I have seen Sam Strano and others allude to as being made much better than normal bargin bin rotors seen on many of our cars. I have seen DBA rotors on other cars and just looking at them they atleast appear to be of superior craftsmanship compared to cheap parts store rotors I priced earlier. And I also think that the extra $30 dollars does help keep a sponsor who is always willing to help the LS1Tech family with group purchases and really great sales and free shipping specials. :D

All I can say is: I've used DBA (Disk Brakes of Australia) products on many of my cars for years, though not my Camaro, and I love their products. You can call and talk to tech guys that are pretty savvy ( at least the couple of times I've contacted them.)

I dont know how long the rotors will last on my fbody. Time will tell.

I actually was so excited about the rotors that I forgot to order pads. DOH!

Why not order them now. You have to order them via the website anyway. It is an online only deal.

But Hawk pads can't be beat. Make sure you get the ones for street use (unless you are going to autocross.) I think they are the ones in purple box but dont quote me on that.

I also like DBA pads, but I dont know if they are available for Fbody. They work great but tend to wear a little faster than Hawks.

That's my opinion.

DBA's are about the best OEM replacement rotor you can buy. The issue with the F-body ones in nobody really marketed them here, so they have sat on the shelf a while. The manufactuer is clearing them out for more warehouse space now.

Yes, they are labeled different from the rears and this is why im all confused.

As I know from past experiences, the rotors should go like the picture posted above but I dont know if the cooling vanes on these rotors go a certain way. It can affect cooling of the rotors.

The front is a newer casting design than the rears.

Lack of knowledge of what Kangaroo Paw means, can the front's be swapped side to side to match the rears?

Kangaroo Paw is their newest blank design which is more advanced from a design standpoint. The rears are an older blank design with different vains and slotting. That is why they are listed as reverse vain. They would fine togethor and no, they should not be swapped side to side.
