Small Block & Big Block Chevy Specific - sbc conversion question.

I looking at a swap here soon into my Lt1. Couple of questions.

1. Can I use my walbro 255 pump in my tank? If so what is the best way about going about it?

2. I I wanted to put a blower on the motor could I get away with just cutting off the windshield wiper or would I actually be getting in to the windshield its self? Basically, will it clear the windshield?

My 95 Z28 has two Walbro 255's pumps in the tank. They are mounted on the stock bracket with the fuel level sensor and everything works. Search the LT1 section and you'll find lots of info on using one Walbro pump.
