The car is an 09' G8GT. It sits for 3-5 weeks at a time, but gets started for a couple of minutes every week, usually Sunday and maybe driven a couple of miles that day. This passed Thursday i drove it for about 280 miles back from college. Just now i noticed if i use manual shift 2 -> 3 or 3 -> 4 it goes into a "neutral" state then into gear, this is at very low levels of throttle, basically around town. It revs up around 250-500rpm before it shifts, this is in only manual mode. Transmission temperature of 50-53*c which is around 120-130*f. It is about 32*f outside. I pulled into my drive way and let the car sit off for 5 minutes and drove it in manual mode, it did not slip; even driving aggressive...

Any ideas?
Tomorrow i will check the transmission fluid, try to have my car as level as possible. With this transmission do i check it cold and hot?

Any help would be awesome!
