2012 Charger SRT8 vs 2011 5.0 and Whipple 07 GT 2012 Charger SRT8 6.4L - Stock - Auto (Paddle Shifters)

2007 GT - Whipple - 5 Speed
Not my videos a friend sent them to me, said the charger only has 50 miles on it. Once its broken in it should really run.

Hey Nite, have you run the new chargers at Irwindale or street ? i think they have a lot of tq mgtmt from the factory or they're heavier than the 6.1's. I think you could have a good race against those cars.
It's like me having fun with the new Camaros, i had a run against a CB,CAI tuned yesterday, and i litterally put 2 cars on it from a dig, it was an M6, and as always, shitty driver like most of them
, i don't understand how with more motor and little less weight, they don't seem to run as they should. Last Thursday i raced one with LT's at Irwindale, guy ran 8.5's all night to my 8.4's, he said he was pushing 430rwhp, tuned by haddad motorsports, i didn't have batteries in my blackberry, so i have no video. i have one from a race with a 5.0 though.
I can hang until they hit 3rd gear

I love the new SRTs, and yet they have had their share of getting bashed on here by nay sayers lol. These new ones will put the hurt on a lot of folks either way you dice it, and they are still just starting to blossom, much like the 5.0s when they first hit the streets.

There is also a 400 hp non-intercooled version.
550 hp with similar weight or lighter and a nice good flat torque curve, as superchargers typically put out, it should have done better against the Charger.

Thanks, 78, the ugly years. But first car I built and kept it. Been almost 30 years.
Aspen has a built SB pushing 600+ on Nitrous.
Cougar is getting a 429 and general once over.
The Police pack Fury is no longer around and the Nova is getting a rebuild and a 100 shot to kinda keep up with my buddys.

Nice Firehawk, btw. Don't see too many of those around . . .
