Has anyone done this?.. Is there a place I can learn more about this? I am interested in the 5.3 truck engine for a mid engine build. I am trying to find any "Bad news" now. Thanks for any help or advice...

You can rotate intakes without problems.

The LS intakes are the same either direction you point them. They did it on Spike TV's 4x4 a while back when they were building a budget buggie with a 6.0!

You can look up and watch old shows? WTF i have been recording all of them on DVR and burning them to DVD for the last 2 years!

I am using my 5.3 in a kit car too, yes the manifold can be spun 180 degrees no problem

Front wheel drive Monte SS and Grand Prix GXP are facing the opposite direction :)
