confused on which way to go nitrous or turbo on my 404.

I have a ls2 404, dart 250cc cnc heads, victor Jr intake. Anyone have any ideas on which way to go. I was thinkin a direct port 200 shot or a 78mm turbo

Tell us more about the engine. What do you plan to use the car for?

Stealth Edit:

I'm a moron and shouldn't reply to threads on my phone where I can't see people's signatures. I'm pretty sure you aren't looking for mild car with a TH400 in it.

If you go turbo, assuming the motor is low enough compression there is no way I would use a 78mm on it. Mid frame 88mm or 91mm would be great on that thing and it would still probably relatively fun on the street.

Also, there is no way I'd spray only 200 through it, especially with a DP on a vic Jr.. If you are only going to spray a 200 hit on it, throw a nice carb plate on the car and be done.

Well first off if you went turbo a 78mm is WAY to small for a 404. You'll need either a big big big T4 turbo like mightymouse uses (91mm) or a T6 85mm or bigger at the least. Unless you don't like making power past 5800rpm or so the 78mm will be ok, but you'll have backpressure issues out the wazoo.

Who says you have to pick just one? Go for both.
