Default People with G5X-2 and G5X-3 with Aftermarket Heads Come Inside

Was contemplating both of these cams for my car. I have Patriot Stage 2 LS6 Heads 59cc coming and was wondering if you guys had to flycut your pistons for these cams...

Thanks

I've got the X2 cam with PP 5.3 heads. They are unmilled, And very tight clearance. Definitely turn the cam over before you fire it up.

No problem at all. Good luck with your cam choice. The g5x2 should be a beast with those heads. Enjoy.

Hey that's me>>>

I've got the PP stage II LS6's w/ 59cc and a G5X-3 on 112 LSA. I did not have to fly cut using the oem head gaskets. You still will want to measure your P/V clearance just to be safe, but I have had no isssues with mine. Great combo by the way. Hope you like it. Oh yeah, if you're an A4 you better have a convertor, and the cam really likes to shift high, I would suggest around 6500 for best results...also make sure vert, has a high shift extension.

i have GTP stg 2 LS6 milled .015 with the X2 on a 114 with no flycutting. very happy with the results... you should be even more happy with the X3... if your heads have been milled at all and your usung the X3 on 114 you should fly cut... do what LG recommends they are the ones who know... Good Luck!!!
