Default Opinions on my possible True Dual set-up...

After installing the MAC headers and ORY, it sounds like crap, IMO. The bends are really shitty, the rattles, and other crap. Anyways, my local exhaust shop which does killer work quoted me $240 for a true dual set-up using 3" and dumped before the axle.

Since I'm in Cali, I'm going to put Bullet mufflers in the stock cat locations so there is something there that slightly resembes a cat in a quick roadside check. The shop doesnt want to mess with boxed mufflers since the lack of room. I am tight on money so I have limit my options. I want to do, bullet mufflers, into the X-junction, then into two more bullet mufflers(one on each side), then dump before the axle. Does this sound okay? How do you think it will sound? Louder than my current set-up of MAC ORY w/ bullets, into I-pipe with cutout under passenger seat?

Where can I find JUST the x-junction piece? And, I saw the Mr. Gas Kit x-pipe thing on jrp's write-up and wondering where I could pick it up? Any finally, what is the difference between the 16" long and the 23" long Bullet mufflers. Thanks!!!

Thanks, I looked at the price and it is insane. The flowtech x-pipe costs less and has more piping and the junction. Still want more opinions. Thanks

Same thing here when I had my MAC setup. off-road y-pipes = sounds shitty, so this is what i went to and it sounded SOOOOO much better Its a 2.5" setup though, with interchangeable carsound (good flowing cats) and off-road pipes, and dynomax bullets, dumped at the axle.

I now have Pacesetters though.

JC Whitney and Summit both sell 3" Universal x-pipe kits for $99.

I went with the Summit one myself.

Anyone have any idea on what the system would sound like, with bullet mufflers, before and after the X-pipe? Anyone know the difference between the 12" and 18" bullet mufflers? Thanks
