FINALLY was able to break away from work and take my car out to the track...car is a stock A4 with the exception of headers, exhaust, cutout, lid and PP T/B...
Cliffnotes...
My best time was 13.115 @ 104.88 w/ a 1.953 60ft. on a cheap ass Sumic tire (never even heard of these gay ass tires before)

I have never had a car that ran so consistent across the board. Needless to say, for a baseline I am happy and look forward to my winter build to improve these numbers drastically!

You gotta get that thing tuned man. Its good for at least a mid 12 with that 1.95 60', those mods, and a tune.

Damn, looking at your mods in your sig and your times it would appear my stock tune is no longer good...
I have alot of parts going in this winter so I was just going to tune it all at once...

one word.. INconsistent. thats a 0.3 variance. thats VERY INconsistent. Shouldnt vary more than 0.03 to call it consistent.....ACTUALLY, I was more consistent than that, and I WAS ALL OVER THE FKN PLACE!!!

I agree, 3 tenths from best to worst is not consistent. But since a lot of it is in the 60 foot (and you're using a regular street tire), getting a sticky drag radial and a tune will do wonders.

I agree, plus the car is basically stock. It's easy to make stock cars run the same each pass.

If you subtract his 60 ft times from his 1/4 times (to eliminate wheelspin as a variable) the rest of the track it was pretty consistent. Like everyone else says, get some sticky tires and it'll be even better. Spinnin' aint winnin'!

I finally got mine to run withing .03. When I had a t56, was able to keep it within .06. But no, .3 is not consistent unless your driving blind or something. Tires, suspension, and seat time will get you to the .03 level, then you can go bracket racing...

Well the car had some upgrades this winter, including a sticky tire. Should be interesting to see how low shit will drop.

Is it hard to be CONSISTENT with a bolt on auto car? Push the gas and go? But yea trap speeds do look close... :)

That's what I was getting at when I said consistent...each pass I left at different rpms, and also lowered the tire pressure on each pass...my goal that day was to click off a 1.9 60ft on a crap ass unknown street tire which I did. I was also just trying to stay within a few hundredths each pass. Considering each pass had a completely different launch, I am pleased with my results especially seeing my mph's were so close.
And for all concerned, the 1.9 pass was with the tire at 26lbs of pressure, with zero stall...just waited for the last yellow and slammed that loud pedal down hard!
