rwhp advice on rough crank figure.
Hello,
First post, love the forum.
I'm from England and new to the V8 scene, I have an LS1 gen 3 with a 6 speed manual.
Usual breathing mods etc but std cam and was dyno last week 340 rwhp.
I'm not new to dynos and I know rwhp is the true figure but having no previous experience of these transmissions and drivetrains before I was wondering what you estimate the crank figure to be.
I know crank isn't an exact science but based on the manual t56 gearbox I think it runs what would be your experienced estimates.
Thanks very much.

340 rwhp on a DynoJet with a 6 speed manual, has approximately a 12% drivetrain loss, so about 386 hp at the crank, some will use a figure as high as 15% which would put it at 400 hp. However, I tend to be agree with the conservative estimate of 12%.
