Corvette Performance - Need some advance for the Tech world

My dad is buying a 2012 100th ZR1. i told him he should do the engine build. a few of his freidns told him not too. Way i see it . he has 125k in this car what is another 5k. ( money isnt hard for him so leave the price a side)

guess where my question is going is.

If you were going to Buy a ZR1 and plan for NO to Very little mod (maybe headers, pully and tune) would you pay to have the opertunity to build your motor???

If its a 5k option then I would pass personally but because its not worth it to me doesnt mean its not to the next person. The option that I have heard pretty much everyone thats done it is the museum delivery. You get to go the factory and watch them build your car and see it come off the line. They take pictures of it in the museum and get to tour the plant. Its also waaaaay less than 5k last I heard.

It would b cool but for for $5000 i would pass on it and put that money into Headers,Pulley & Tune instead but thats just my 2 cents !
