Default Early head studs on a 2006

Is it possible to use early head studs on a 2006 block?

For the record, I have two sets of early heads.

If you are cutting down to fit you will be cutting off threaded portions of the studs. Unless you need 2 sets of studs, sell the ones you got and get one set of the right ones for your car.

Agreed.

Grendel, don't even mess w/ 'em. Reducing thread engagement by cutting is not something you want to do w/head studs. Use the correct length (short studs) & be done w/ it. Good-luck. To answer the specific question regarding whether long studs work on 06 blocks...not to my knowledge.

No, they won't fit or work correctly. Get the right ones.
