Default Car jack stands??

Hey guys I am selling and buying wheels,and if I take off all my wheels and tires and leave my car on jack stands what's the longest it can sit that way without hurting the suspension ?

As long as it's set so it's on a "loaded" suspension, you should be fine. Should just need to do all your basic mx/safety checks before taking back on the street (or track).

I know people who do it either way.. you can either put stands under the spindle, compressing the suspension or put them under the body, letting the suspension sag.. either way, put something between the stand and the body... a block of wood or thick rubber or ???
