Default Guys with PRC stage 2.5, 5.3 heads and T V2

What is your feeling of this set up. I think im gunna buy it. Those of you that have it or that know someone who does, good to go or is there a better budget setup im missing?

Its for a non daily driver that will be 70% street driven 30% track.

I have it em with the v3. Runs strong and sounds really good. Id assume the v2 would be similar without the high lift of the v3.

I have that combo with the v3. The car is a m6 with a 9" rear. Put down 440 rwhp/407 rwtq on a dynojet. Sounds great, pulls hard between 3500-6000. Bbk intake, stock p&p tb. Ran a best of 7.60 in the eigth mile. 3.89 gears.

Wow! What's your total combo? I'm looking to tweak my setup to get more out of it.

I'm in the same boat as most of you guys are. Looking at the V3 package with the PRC heads. Heard it's a great combo with plenty of power (for me at least!)

Whats the deal with V3 over the V2. Guy at TSP suggested the V2. Looks like everyone is in favor of the V3 though.

Did you guy have to drill your throttle body or were you able to make the adjustments within in the program? I have the stock t/b with a home port/polish done.

V2 FTW, times in sig. It loves the spray and it's not half bad on motor either. Cam only at almost 3400lbs with a nitrous converter i run 11.51 at 117.

I am thinking about this setup also with the V3. The reason I chose is I dont want a small cam and this seems like everyone likes this setup. No complaints yet that I have seen. Killer power too, anywhere between 430 and 470 rwhp.

Shouldn't have to. If you do, something is wrong.

I have the prc 2.5 5.3 heads and V3 with stock LS6 intake, stock TB, 85mm maf and 1.75" LT's. 430whp 400wtq. I flycut the pistons simply for the extra clearance. Very nice combo with good street manners.

I'm at least going to have BER port the LS6 intake and p&p the TB. But I'm also curious to see how much is left on the table going with a ported Fast 90 or 92 and p&p LS2 TB. Anyone have a good idea?
