If I were you, I'd call around and get labor prices from some shops. I know a few shops around here told me $20.00 each side.....IF they showed up to my house and the door panel was removed and the old glass was out and the new one was ready to go in.
To me.....it would have been well worth it. They can be a pain in the balls.
Luckily....the chips and scratches I THOUGHT were there...were all in the old tint and I didn't have to replace them.

Its SUPER easy. You just need to remove the stops at the top and drill out the rivets holding the window to the regulator sash. Its a good idea to get GM rivets and the insulators for the rivets (forgot the technical term but its what the rivets go through so the glass doesnt crack when you compress the rivets).

you could probably get those rivets from the glass place........you have to use a long nosed riv gun to put those rivets in
