An out of state customer sent his Z06 for our stage 3 Head/cam package and asked that we tune it for pump gas and MS-109 race gas. We finished the car today and he asked that we create a video similar to the many others that he has seen on our YouTube page.

Modifications included:

•Livernois Motorsports CNC LS7 Cylinder Heads
•Livernois Motorsports Stage 3 LS7 Camshaft
•Livernois Motorsports Dual Valve Spring Package
(Livernois Motorsports Dual Valve Springs, Titanium Retainers, Valve Spring Locators, Locks, & Valve Seals)
•Livernois Motorsports Ported throttle Body
•Kooks 2" Longtube Headers
•Kooks 3" X-Pipe
•Corsa Exhaust
•Fast 102mm Intake Manifold
•Halltech Cold Air Intake
•RPS Billet Carbon to Carbon Clutch
•NGK TR6 Spark Plugs
•GM 3-Bolt Cam Sprocket
•ARP Cam Bolts
•Hardened Pushrods
•GM Exhaust Gaskets
•Fluids & Synthetic Oil Change w/ Filter
•Professional Installation
•Livernois Motorsports Dyno Tune

The customer also added Corbeau seats, harnesses, and Pfadt Roll Bar to the package.

The car was 100% bone stock when it arrived and baseline numbers were 439 RWHP / 410 RWTQ. 93 octane pump gas numbers were 628 RWHP / 525 RWTQ. MS-109 race gas numbers were 641 RWHP / 535 RWTQ.

This thing is a monster!

On the stock runflats, it would spin hard no matter what in first, rolling into it in second and from a fast roll in 3rd. Time for some sticky tires!

Great numbers! Some blower cars don't produce as well.

Did you have to modifiy the tune for the race fuel? Timing and fuel or just timing?

Now for some track numbers.

I'm looking at buying a C6 convertible and it makes me want an LS7 convertible... hmmmm

Thanks! When we do a boosted LS7, we don't like to run much boost and with low boost, headers, exhaust, and tune they usually make around 600 RWHP. This car feels quicker than a blower car....

Another car we did with this package went 9.93 @ 139 mph on a MT ET street

628 on pump gas is very impressive. Looks like the combo was right sized for the street.

Thank you!

Compression is approximately 11.4:1

Typically, we disclose all of our cam specs, but we have a lot of time testing and on the engine dyno with this cam and would rather keep these specs proprietary.

Thank you,

Rick

Very nice. What lsa? Also how is drivability with such an aggressive cam?

The LSA is 114

In all honesty, it drives pretty good considering the size of the cam. I wouldn't recommend it to someone with a daily driver, but I'm pretty picky when it comes to drivability and I would definitely have no problem with it in my weekend toy. I find that you can drive one gear down from normal in the city, but still cruise at 70 mph in 6th.

honestly i have found the wider lsa's with a little advance much better with the ls7's... i have tuned a bunch of rather cams on 110, 111 lsa's and honestly they dont run like they should... my personal car has 239-251 on 114+3 and it rips makes 590 rwhp without a fast 102.... your guys curve looks great as i feel should without that big dip in tq at 4000 rpm
